Job Description:
TMC provides Systems and Software Assurance Services to the NASA Independent Verification and Validation (IV&V) Program located in Fairmont, West Virginia. At the NASA Katherine Johnson IV&V Facility, we support NASA's IV&V Program, delivering analysis and verification & validation of safety-critical and mission-critical software for several important NASA programs, including both human and robotic exploration as well as earth and space science collection platforms.
The successful candidate will work independently and as a lead of a team in one or more of these IV&V projects or other IV&V Program functional areas.
Candidates will manage day-to-day activities of the team members working on IV&V project team(s). Responsible for the staffing profile for the project(s), generating project schedule(s) for Fiscal Year activities, and identifying project risks and mitigation strategies. Works to adapt established artifact-based analysis completed by IV&V team members to assure capabilities of spacecrafts. Candidates must complete and deliver final reports.
Candidates will lead teams of analysts performing verification and validation analyses, as well as other technical tasks within scope of the project(s).
This can be a remote position with occasional trips to Fairmont, WV.

Minimum Requirements: *
B.S. in Computer Science, Computer Engineering/Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or another credited Engineering Program and 20 years’ experience; OR M.S and 18 years’ experience; OR PhD and 15 years’ experience
Experience leading small software analyses; software development; or software safety teams.
Experience in one or more of these disciplines: software analyses; software development/programming; software safety.
Familiar with Software Development Lifecycle.
Good communication skills; both verbally and written.
Experience in project planning, staff management, and producing high quality deliverables on time.
Preferred Skills
Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, TEAMS)
Is a self-starter who can work independently, but who also functions well in a collaborative team environment.
Knowledge of UML and/or Rational Rhapsody.
Knowledge of agile practices.
Knowledge of Simulink and MATLAB
